Before publicizing your event, consider whether the event will be through invitation only or is open to the public.  Consider your audience when publicizing the event.

• To publicize your event on the Humanities and Social Sciences or the university calendar, submit your details to the calendar system.  
• Is this an event to which the media should be invited? Contact college communications to discuss.
• Marketing materials must adhere to the university’s brand guidelines. Please refer to the NC State Brand site and our communication resources page.
• Coordinate any follow-up stories with the college communications office.
