Jamey Widener-Reynolds
Bio
Hola, todos! My name is Jamey Widener and I’ve been teaching Spanish here at NCSU since 2002. I love languages and I love to travel! Spanish is my real love, and I have recently been taking French classes through our department just for kicks. I also speak a little Portuguese and a few words in Chinese and Navajo!
I am proud to say that I got my undergraduate degree right here in these hallowed halls. While a student here I did a semester abroad with the Santander program. It was one of the most important experiences in my life, and I met some wonderful people there. I was recently able to spend Christmas with them in Madrid and got to brush up on my Spanish tortilla making skills (see profile pic here).
