Bethany Van Scooter's research focuses on neurodivergent academic writers and AI tools in the writing processes, with additional interests in critical AI literacy, rhetoric of motherhood, and writing pedagogy. She also is working with NC State's Integrative Sciences Initiative to develop writing curriculum at the intersection of composition and the sciences.
