Bec Stargel
Bio
Bec is a sociology Ph.D. student specializing in trans studies. They are currently focused on exploring trans-therepeutics, also called gender-affirming medical care, with a focus on both patient and provider experience. Their research focuses on how people in healthcare spaces navigate cisnormativity, transnormativity, political pressures, and a host of other intersecting forces that shape the world of healthcare.
