Bio

Laura Call instructs and designs courses in French on all levels from 101 to 492/592, as well as occasional courses in Global Literature. In addition to teaching and working with undergraduate students, Dr. Call enjoys mentoring and advising graduate students as they transition to teaching or PhD programs. She currently directs the Summer Study Abroad Program in Paris & Lille and seeks other opportunities for students to study abroad. In all areas of her work, Dr. Call promotes the use of television and audiovisual media for authentic language learning and pragmatic competency.
