Bio
I have taught English as a Second or Foreign Language for over 30 years at Intensive English Programs and universities nationally and abroad and have extensive experience training teachers in the field of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I am also a trained German teacher and have taught German as a Foreign Language at Saint Louis University, UNC-Greensboro, and NC State.
I received a Doctor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures and a Master’s degree in TESL/Linguistics from Syracuse University. I also have a Master’s degree in German Language and Literature from the University of Heidelberg in Germany. My expertise lies in foreign language pedagogy and curriculum development.
I speak fluent German and conversational Spanish.
