Bio

Allison Gilmore is a first year graduate student in the PhD in Sociology program at NCSU. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Allison spent her early career focused on movement organizing and community impact for marginalized community. As a graduate student, Allison is interested in race and class, centering on the growing class divide amongst the Black community and Black elitism.
