Bio
I am a Professor of Public Administration, having taught at North Carolina State University for over 35 years. I teach public management, primarily in the areas of human resource management (leadership), negotiations (communications), and organizational behavior (change management). I am the author of two books and over sixty refereed articles and book chapters. I have served previously on the Faculty Senate and as the Chair of the Faculty (2003-2005), PSPA Interim Department Head (2006), and Public Administration Director (1988-1990). I have had prior service in the Faculty Senate and its Executive Committee and served as, chair of the University Research Committee, the Group Insurance and Benefits Committee, the CHASS Research Committee, and the CHASS RPT Committee. I have also served on the UNC System’s Faculty Assembly and its Executive Committee.
