Bio

Zlatin Mitkov is an Assistant Teaching Professor at North Carolina State University’s School of Public and International Affairs and a Research Fellow at the University of Central Florida’s School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs. He holds a Ph.D. in Security Studies and International Relations from the School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs at the University of Central Florida and an MA in political science with a focus on comparative politics from the Central European University. His core research interests include Political Psychology, Intrastate War, Interstate War, Public Opinion, Survey and Lab Experiments, Conspiracy Theories, and Disinformation. His work is regularly presented at the annual APSA, ISA, ISPP, and MPSA conferences and has been funded by UCF’s College of Sciences, NCSU’s School of Public and International Affairs, and ASMEA.
