Zachary Howell
Bio
Zach Howell has served as a Training Delivery Professional at North Carolina State’s Center for Family and Community Engagement since 2024. He has seven years of experience working in public education as a high school biology and environmental science educator in southern Mississippi and the Northshore of Louisiana. Throughout his career in education, he has facilitated engaging and inclusive learning experiences and focused on building a welcoming learning environment for learners at every level. Additionally, Zach has designed, adapted, and implemented effective classroom curricula to maximize engagement and optimize student learning. In his previous role in Louisiana, Zach also partnered with community organizations and local government agencies on environmental stewardship initiatives, driving student engagement in the community.
Helping learners define and achieve success is Zach’s primary objective as a trainer, facilitator, and educator. For him, employing a wide range of instructional approaches, partnering with community stakeholders, and building and growing relationships are key to his own definition of success at CFACE. Looking forward, Zach will continue to pursue his goal of assisting learners achieve professional success by providing engaging and impactful learning experiences for North Carolina’s child welfare professionals.
