Bio

Tim Michaelis is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at North Carolina State University. He received his doctorate in Applied Social Psychology at NC State University. Tim focuses primarily on developing original research around the topics of entrepreneurial resourcefulness, persistence, hybrid entrepreneurship, psychological determinants of pivoting a business, crime and unethical behavior associated with the entrepreneurship process, and entrepreneur health & well-being. Tim’s work has been published in the Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Technology Transfer, Academy of Management Discoveries, Journal of Business Venturing Insights, among others.
