Bio
Greetings! I am a PhD student in the Communications, Rhetoric, and Digital Media (CRDM) program at North Carolina State University. My primary research focuses on affect theory, which examines how objects pull us into affective realms of feeling. I earned my master’s in Rhetoric and Composition at Wayne State University, an R1 university in the heart of Detroit, Michigan. It was there that I taught for two years as a graduate teaching assistant, focusing on first-year and intermediate composition. I graduated in May of 2024 before moving on to NC State University to begin my PhD journey, where I am currently on the Provost Fellowship.
