Landen Longest
Bio
Landen Longest is an instructor and PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at North Carolina State University. Her research explores how communities and local governments respond to cases of industrial contamination. She is currently working on projects investigating multiple U.S. communities impacted by exposures to environmental toxics. Her primary research interests involve environmental health and illness, social movements, environmental risk, and environmental justice.
