Bio

I was born in Michoacán, México. I spent part of my life in California, where I completed high school and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Culture from Sacramento State University. Later, I moved to Raleigh, NC, to pursue a Master’s degree in Spanish with an emphasis in Hispanic Linguistics at North Carolina State University.

Professionally, I have worked on the development of educational materials for Spanish courses. Specifically, I have assisted in the development of Spanish language programs for specific purposes. At Sacramento State, I served as a Content Developer for the creation of three Spanish textbooks for the Criminal Justice field. While at NCSU, I developed three Spanish courses for legal and justice professions (WLSP 201, 202, and 331). I currently teach WLSP 101, 202, and 331.
