David Nguyen
Bio
David Nguyen is a PhD student at North Carolina State’s Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media program. His research focuses on the intersection of rhetoric, race, and media studies, particularly how Vietnamese people and culture are rhetorically constructed in U.S. media.
David is originally from Greensboro N.C. and comes to NC State with a wide array of experiences ranging from public speaking to orientation. He brings years of teaching experiences and approaches the classroom with a passionate lens to serve students. Overall he carries a deep care for teaching and these opportunities helped hone his love for mentorship as a whole.
