Carrie Carter
Bio
Carrie Carter is a Sociology PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Her research explores how organizational structures, policies and practices impact equity and effectiveness in the military and higher education. Her dissertation examines the paradoxical impacts of three recent gendered policy changes on gender relations in the United States Army. Carrie’s work has appeared in Gender, Work & Organization, the Journal of Veterans Studies and the Journal of College Student Development.
