Bio

Taylor Braswell is a sociologist who researches the social, environmental, and political economic dynamics of urbanization and infrastructure development. He currently has two major streams of research. The first explores relationships between infrastructure governance, urban and regional development, and urban-rural dynamics. The second stream examines the drivers of growth in the wildland-urban interface (WUI) in the United States. Taylor’s work has appeared in journals including Social ForcesUrban GeographyJournal of Urban Affairs, and Agriculture and Human Values.
