Nina is a Ph.D. student interested in design, management, and governance of public-serving networks. She is an active member of the Fire Chasers, a research lab under the direction of Dr. Branda Nowell, working to better understand systems of wildfire resilience in the western United States. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Nina assisted faculty with pursuing grant funding at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, where she also received her MPA.
Now, as a Ph.D. student, Nina has gained research experience in purpose-oriented networks, network governance, and quantitative and qualitative methods. She has also gained teaching experience as an instructor of record for an Introduction to Public Administration course within NC State’s School of Public and International Affairs.
