Working as a government officer for some years, Ha is experienced in how federal, state and local government truly operate, and how public managers truly participate to make collective actions. Ha has had a wide range of international experiences from US, Sweden, Japan, ASEAN and China as a scholarship holder of:
• Chevening (UK government)
• VYLA (Indiana University Bloomington and Vietnam government)
• IATSS Forum (Honda Inc., Japan)
• Swedish Institute and other scholarships
Ha Vien got her MPA from Indiana University Bloomington, concentrated on Public Policy Analysis and International Development, that has equipped her with quantitative and qualitative research skills through STATA, R, SAS... and now she is working on learning Python, GIS and other statistical analysis software to support her research interest. She also consulted for Vietnam Government and World Bank (i.e. IFC) in Vietnam during her study at IUB as a class task.
