Requesting a Date

You may request a date Monday through Thursday during the traditional academic year by completing the online registration form.

Parents and guests are welcome to visit with you. In order for us to prepare for your visit, please register at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of your requested date. If at all possible, kindly provide us with an alternate date. We will do our best to accommodate your initial preference.

Fall 2023 Availability

  • Mondays-Thursdays from Sept. 5-Dec. 5, except for Sept.19, Oct. 2, Oct. 9-10 and Nov. 22-24.

Spring 2024 Availability

  • Mondays-Thursdays from Jan. 22-April 23, except for Feb. 13 and March 11-15.

Minors on Campus

NC State expects that a parent/guardian will accompany a minor (an individual under 18 years of age) who is participating in a campus visitation program, but understands that sometimes this is not possible.

You will need to indicate on the registration form if you will have a parent/guardian attending Spend-a-Day with you. Please note that if a minor chooses to visit campus without an accompanying parent/guardian, the university is not responsible for the care, custody or control of the minor.

Confirming Your Registration

Our primary method of communicating with you once you submit a request is via email, so please be sure to check your email account for our response. You will always receive details in advance about a visit — if you never receive a response to your request, please do not assume it has been approved. Kindly follow up directly: dara_leeder@ncsu.edu. Due to the number of visitation requests we receive, we regret that we cannot take requests by phone.
