Call for Abstracts: Phosphorus Week, Nov. 3-4

We received this call for abstracts from the Sustainable Phosphorus Alliance. Scholars working on matters involving water quality will find this to be an interesting opportunity.

The 2022 Sustainable Phosphorus Summit (SPS) will be held Nov. 3-4 in Raleigh, North Carolina. SPS is the international academic conference on phosphorus sustainability, and it is held biennially on a different continent each time. This year, the event will take place as part of a larger Phosphorus Week event that runs from Nov. 1-4 and includes our annual Phosphorus Forum. Agenda details for the combined events here.

We are soliciting abstracts covering original research to be considered for live presentation at the event. We invite you to submit yours here. Abstracts are due before July 15. We encourage abstracts submitted by individuals from diverse backgrounds, perspectives and nationalities.

Phosphorus Week is being co-hosted by the STEPS Center and the Sustainable Phosphorus Alliance. This year’s speakers include MacArthur Fellow, Dr. Nancy Rabalais, author and journalist, Dan Egan, former Farm Services Agency Administrator, Dr. Jonathan Coppess, former lead of the U.S. National Lakes Assessment, Dr. Amina Pollard, Phosphorus: Past and Future authors, Drs.
