Simone Tucker is a freshman majoring in International Studies and Arabic. Recently elected Humanities and Social Sciences Student Senator for 2017-18, she is a member of the Mock Trial Team and multiple language clubs, resides in the Impact Leadership Village, and looks forward to a career in government or nonprofits.

Simulating Migration Crises, Rogue Vessels, Ebola Outbreaks at the Libraries

“Winter Is Coming,” a two-day energy and security simulation training exercise for 50 Triangle-area university students interested in careers with intelligence agencies, recreated the kinds of situation rooms that a National Security Advisor runs in cases of a high-level security emergency—all in the safety of the Hunt Library’s visualization and collaboration spaces.

NC State's Leadership in the Public Sector degree program was the perfect fit for Sgt. 1st Class Jason Davidson, who oversees the day-to-day operations and training of nearly 40 paratroopers at Fort Bragg.
