‘The Future of Europe’ — 2016 Pope Lecture Features Christopher Caldwell

Editor and political columnist Christopher Caldwell will present the 2016 John W. Pope Lecture at NC State University

Caldwell will speak on “The Future of Europe” at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 29, at Poe Hall (room 216) on NC State’s campus. This event is open to the public at no charge, and reservations are not required.

A senior editor at the Weekly Standard, Caldwell is also the author of Reflections on the Revolution in Europe: Immigration, Islam and the West. His essays, columns and reviews have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and other publications.

The Pope Lecture Series is hosted by NC State’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences and Poole College of Management to encourage dialogue on topics of political and economic interest. This lecture series is supported by a grant from the John W. Pope Foundation.

Poe Hall is located at 2310 Stinson Drive on the NC State campus. Parking is available in the lots next to SAS Hall and North Residence Hall.
