Hobbs Receives Global Engagement Award
Heidi Hobbs has received one of two inaugural Outstanding Global Engagement Awards from the university’s Office of International Affairs and the International Operations Council. Hobbs, who directs the college’s Master of International Studies program as well as CHASS international programs, was honored for her contributions to global engagement on behalf the university. She has been instrumental in developing several international programs, including a study abroad program in Prague, Czech Republic, a dual masters program in Surrey, United Kingdom, and a Master of Development Practice program with TERI University in India. Hobbs received her award at the first International Engagement Expo at NC State.
