Brace Yourself: Study Finds People Can Use Different Strategies to Prepare for Stress

People are not consistent in how they prepare mentally to deal with arguments and other stressors, according to a pilot study led by Associate Professor of Psychology Shevaun Neupert. In fact, people used different coping behaviors to prepare for different stressors, and those coping behaviors changed from day to day.

Fifty years later, NC State University’s Virtual Martin Luther King Jr. Project has launched a website that includes a digital audio re-creation that puts listeners in the pews to hear the widely influential "Fill Up the Jails" speech.

Film Brings Cherokee Language to Life

NC State’s North Carolina Language and Life Project has produced a film documenting the tribe’s efforts and sounding a call to save the language.
