Army Vet, LPS Student Lands Legislative Fellowship

After serving in the United States Army for eight years, Daniel Snedden trained his sights on completing his undergraduate degree. NC State's Leadership in the Public Sector program is enabling him to do just that. Through a legislative fellowship, Snedden is preparing and presenting a research paper to the entire North Carolina congressional delegation about the impact of budget sequestration on military readiness.

Paul Kelley is a non-traditional student who intends to graduate in May 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Leadership in the Public Sector. He works full-time as a correctional officer, takes a full load of classes through distance education, and is active on campus.
