If a rebudget is needed, email the Post-Award Manager and provide the following information:

  • Project ID
  • What budget lines need to increase?
  • What budget lines need to decrease?
  • Justification for each line that is changing explaining the technical nature of the change / why it is needed

The Post-Award Manager will submit the rebudget request to the Office of Contracts & Grants for review and processing.  Depending on the terms of the award, some requests may have to be sent to the sponsor for review and approval.
