Bio

Grant Martin is a 2nd year Ph.D. student in Public Administration and an Army officer at Fort Bragg, NC. His research primarily addresses goal displacement within the military, specifically exploring the competing priorities of civilian control of the military and the effectiveness of operations. His work has been published in the International Journal (Canada), Military Review, and the Small Wars Journal, and he has co-authored chapters in two books: The Sociology of Military Science: Prospects for Postinstitutional Military Design and Millennial Spring: Designing the Future of Organizations.
