Elizabeth is interested in intersections of embodiment, identity, and activism that increases possibilities for justice. She believes that public speaking is a vital way to participate in civic life and social change. In addition to teaching, she has worked as a community educator, facilitator, and trainer around a variety of issues related to diversity and inclusion, interpersonal and organizational communication, gender and sexuality, and leadership.
