Tom Feeny started teaching language and literature courses in 1959 and has been teaching at NC State since 1970. However, he’s been writing poetry since he was a teenager. That early pastime became an avocation he’s pursued ever since, motivated by the pure satisfaction of the creative act.

Alum Finds His Niche in Reality TV

Brian “B-Rob” Robinson is not your ordinary song-and-dance man. At 39, the Charlotte, N.C., native and NC State communication alumnus has built a successful career in Southern California producing reality TV shows — specializing in amateur singing and dancing competitions. His credits include FOX-TV's So You Think You Can Dance and 12 years with American Idol, the show that launched fellow Wolfpacker Clay Aiken.

Humanities research shares national stage at Congressional reception

Congressman David Price invited members of NC State’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences to discuss their latest research at the event, held in honor of the 50th anniversary of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
