Alumni Association Outstanding Research Award

The NC State University Alumni Association recognizes the importance of NC State faculty research achievements. The Alumni Association will support three research awards ($3,000 each) to be announced each year at the spring commencement.

No more than two nominations may be submitted from any one college. In order for the College Research Office to review and evaluate nominations, and meet the University deadline, all pertinent materials must be submitted to the CHASS Office of Research no later than February 29, 2012.

Please submit materials required (letter of nomination, complete vita, five letters of reference, and copies of selected publications relevant to the nomination), electronically (in Word or pdf) to the CHASS Research Office. An original and six copies are also required in hard copy, as well as one set of support materials. The college will distribute to the CHASS Review Committee, made up of past winners, and the University Selection Committee.
