CHASS International Programs Committee Mission Statement

Consonant with NC State's goal of producing future global leaders and world citizens, the mission of the CHASS International Programs Committee is to help equip students with the knowledge and experiences needed to be successful in an international environment. The Committee fosters international awareness and an understanding of global diversity. It promotes programming and courses with international content. To achieve its mission, the Committee works with faculty and administrators in the establishment and evaluation of programs and opportunities that enhance international engagement. It advises on issues concerning the International Studies major, the academic integrity of study abroad programs that involve CHASS faculty or courses, and the worthiness of applications for study abroad scholarship support. Finally, the Committee assists in seeking funding that supports study abroad, international students who matriculate in CHASS, and other College and University efforts aimed at internationalization.
