Usage of the CHASS Logo

In most instances, the CHASS or departmental logo should not appear on the same page as the university brick. It should be used on the back or inside of the publication to avoid visual clutter. Where the brick is used, the department name or the college name should be set in Univers Condensed or Trade Gothic Bold.

You should choose either the department or the College logo, not both, in your piece.

The exception to this guideline is for one-sided deliverables such as a poster. Please include the university brick/logo in its proper upper-left position. (See page 13 of the Style Guide for example of correct and incorrect usage for most instances.)

The logo should appear in the University's red and black, in all black, or in all white type reversed out of a colored background or photograph.

No other colors can be applied to the CHASS logo.
